The Dark Kiwi lens builds on the success of our low- and medium-light filters, 92CIL and 53CIK, with an optimised filtration curve for mid-light to full-sun conditions. It delivers superior target registration when light is bright but not as intense as full sunlight.
Designed for situations with bright white or grey cloud cover conditions that can make targets appear washed out—this lens enhances contrast and clarity, helping the eye track the flight, distance, and trajectory of the target. By incorporating CMX3, the filter lifts orange tones for improved visibility.
The Dark Kiwi lens excels with both orange and lime-green targets, providing sharp, high-contrast sighting even in challenging ambient light conditions.
